This September, Badminton Bears are getting into the olympic spirit by running a Charity Badminton Challenge event, and we would love for you to be a part of it. Our aim is to run a badminton session for 2012 minutes (33 hours), with continuous play throughout. As well as being a fun event open to all, we're raising money for two great charities: Tiny Babies BIG Appeal and The Albion Foundation Sports Disability Department. Many thanks to The Albion Foundation for hosting our event at
Want to get involved? We're encouraging as many people as possible to come along and play for a few hours (or more!), regardless of ability or age. Just fill out the entry form below and come along. It costs £10 to enter, which entitles you to play for any part (or indeed all) of the 33 hour period (that's just 30p an hour!) Our goal is to raise £1,000 for our chosen charities so we'd like participants to ask people to sponsor them for taking part. Ideally everyone would raise a minimum of £50. The sponsorship form is also available to download below.

The deadline for entry forms is Monday 10th September. Alternatively, you can enter on the day for a slightly higher entry fee. There are more details on the form.
During the daytime there'll be fun challenges and free play, enough to keep every sort of player entertained. When night falls (and energy levels ebb) we're running a doubles league. Hopefully the competitive nature of the event will keep us going through the night!
